Description

DESCRIPTION:The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Watermark Numerical Computing in Oxley, Australia for Watermark Numerical Computing PEST software package for a period of 12 months to be delivered to The USGS Water Science Center to Miami,FL 09/01/2010 thru 08/31/201. Watermark Numerical Computing is the only known source for this requirement because this company is the developer of the PEST software package and the only qualifIed researcher to assist the USGS with the use of PEST to calibrate the integrated surface-water/ground model being developed for Miami-Date County. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. See Numbered Note 1.
