Description
FOR ANY INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT Joseph Rauner, Electronics Engineer, (732) 532-1267 DESC This is a Market Survey to identify sources for new fabrication of the AN/TPQ-36(V) FIREFINDER Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) on a five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The item is identified under NSN 5960-01-089-3554, Government source control P/N SM-D-800074-1, as well as Boeing Corp. (formerly Hughes) CAGEC 73293 P/N 1742H. Quantities are to-be-determined. Only the first order placed on contract with award will be guaranteed. A source control drawing and performance specification for the assembly exist and will be issued with the solicitation. However, detailed technical data pertaining to the existing design will not be supplied by the Army as they are not available. Interested suppliers capable of successfully manufacturing the required item must so indicate, by writing to SFAE-IEW-NV-R, PM Radars/Firefinder, Bldg. 428, Fisher Ave., Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, or by email to joseph.rauner@us.army.mil. Incumbent supplier is requested to submit a response. Response must include the following at a minimum: 1)Documentation such as test results, test procedures, copy of purchase order(s) if the supplier was a vendor/subcontractor to the listed source, or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, successfully deliver spec compliant newly produced units. 2)Past Performance specifying part number(s), NSN(s) and manufacturing/ production date(s) and lead times; identify Government contract numbers if applicable, otherwise, identify source of acquisition for units if not obtained under a Government contract for the item; nomenclature(s) of end-items where tubes were to be used, if known. 3)Specify the quality standard (whether Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this new effort. 4)Supporting data to demonstrate availability of adequate production facilities, equipment, tooling, space, and experienced personnel to enable interested source, or its subcontractors, to successfully manufacture and deliver compliant units that will meet form, fit, and function requirements when integrated into the AN/TPQ-36(V) FIREFINDER Systems and used by the Army for its intended function.
