- Description
- RECOVERY-In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Pub.L 111-5 and Federal Acquisition Regulation, Subpart 5.704, the Government posts this notice of intent to issue a task order under an established Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for Logistical Services with multiple vendors. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER HRSA'S LOGISTICAL SERVICES IDIQ. This IDIQ is a performance-based contract which is used to provide logistical support services to HRSA. Logistical support services for this contract include (1) developing conference plans and policies; (2) developing conference/meeting technical materials; (3) managing conference logistics; (4) managing conference communications; (5) staffing and planning diagnostic site visits; and (6) providing technical assistance. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire logistical services for four (4) support sessions, for 600 to 1000 participants each, in support of the ARRA- awarded NHSC Loan Repayers. The sessions are 3 days, 2 nights in duration. The purpose of these sessions is to welcome awardees to the NHSC; provide participants with program guidelines and expectations; emphasize the importance of cultural competency when caring for culturally diverse populations; provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs); provide the tools to support clinicians in their service to the underserved; and retain clinicians many years beyond the completion of their obligation. The sessions will be held in four distinct geographic areas of the country to reduce participant travel time.
