Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number HSCG38-10-Q-200125 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336413. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This is an unrestricted solicitation. This synopsis/solicitation is issued for the procurement of hoist assemblies used within the Coast Guard Short Range Recovery (SRR) HH-65 aircraft. The Government's objective is to negotiate a firm-fixed price, purchase order with a responsible vendor that can provide the hoist assemblies. The requirement is listed below. Item 1 P/N BL-10300-63-1 NSN 3950-01-HS2-2540 DESC HOIST ASSEMBLY QTY 24 Cage Code 08484 RDD 04/30/11 The Government reserves the right to withhold any item or group of items contained in this solicitation upon award. The Government cannot predetermine the precise quantities that will be required. This requirement contains an estimated quantity and delivery to be scheduled by placing firm-fixed purchase order. The intended source for this requirement is Breeze Eastern, Inc. The lack of competition for this requirement is due to the fact that the parts must have OEM traceability and the data rights are not available. Inspection and acceptance shall be performed Quality Assurance. The delivery of the hoist assemblies are desired within 390 calendar days after receipt of purchase order. Early deliveries will be accepted. F.O.B. Point will be F.O.B. DESTINATION for all Deliverables. Used Items/Parts are NOT acceptable. Packaging, packing, and preservation shall be in accordance with best commercial practices to enable shipment to destination and transshipment to Coast Guard units without repackaging or incurring damage during shipment and handling. The contractor shall furnish a Certificate of Conformance in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.246-15. Certificate of Conformance must be submitted in the format specified in the clause. Contractor's standard commercial warranty shall apply. IAW FAR 46.706(b)(5), any offered warranty must be disclosed; as a minimum disclosure must include a brief statement that a warranty exists, the substance of the warranty, the warranty's duration, and whom to notify if the items are found to be defective.
