Description
DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid-Atlantic Consolidated Patient Account Center (MACPAC) located at 128 Bingham Road, Suite 500, Asheville, North Carolina intends to procure sole source with Team Dynamics, 312-213 Crosstown Road, Peachtree, Georgia to train the education department staff, department managers and front-line supervisors (approximately 35 personnel) to deliver key concepts and ideas with power and enthusiasm for approximately 35 personnel. NAICS code 611430 applies to this procurement. Courses shall encompass all materials, labor, and presentation planner tools necessary to conduct front-line supervisor training with objective to close the presentation competency gap, strengthen presentation performance, and motivate teams to improve results. The contractor shall conduct multiple leadership workshops within the MACPAC including: Leadership, Strengths, Engagement, Ordinary vs. Remarkable, Culture Change, Employee and Customer Centric Culture, and Initiative. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement must supply information about their capabilities to the Contracting Officer no later than 12:00 p.m. EST, June 11, 2010. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government and can be sent via e-mail. This award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. No solicitations will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses and questions must be submitted via email to Catherine Artis at Catherine.artis@va.gov and received by 12:00 p.m. EST on June 11, 2010.
