Description

The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for "design and installation of a telemetry endpoint is to telemeter digital data in real time from Walker Mountain and remote field stations on Central Oregon volcanoes to a single collection point in Crescent, Oregon with Internet access." The data can then be accessed from the CVO, allowing real-time monitoring of Central Oregon volcanoes. The design phase will be completed by 30 September 2010 and the installation phase will be completed by 30 September 2011. The RFQ 10ERSS0074 will be issued on or about 14 June 2010 with written quotes due on or about 14 July 2010. The anticipated award date of the contract is 26 July 2010. Vendors must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov prior to award to be eligible for award. Once the RFQ has been submitted, it may be viewed on the Department of Interior's Business Opportunities Web Page at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
