Description

Ariba Buyer Software 8.2 Technical Support Services J & A The U.S. Department of State, Office of Program Management intends to award a Sole Source requirement to Ariba, Inc., 807 11th Ave. Sunnyvale, CA 94089-4731 for Ariba Buyer Software 8.2 Technical Support Services. (1) TSS for Ariba Buyer software and integration packs for 5000 users (Qty 1). The period of performance is for twelve months of support services. Ariba Buyer Software has been customized for the State Department to enable employees to quickly locate and request the goods and services they need to do their jobs anytime and anyplace. The State Department has an ongoing need for Ariba's technical support services comprised of Ariba phone support (at levels 1, 2 and 3), internet based support, software product updates and access to the proprietary Ariba supplier network. Ariba has not authorized any other firms to offer level 1, 2 and 3 phone support or product updates for Ariba software programs which would require a source code license. Note: See attached Justification and Approval For Other Than Full and Open Competition.
