- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 3), James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx New York, Network Acquisitions and Logistics program is currently seeking firms, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone, 8(A) OR Small Business with the ability to perform Preventative Maintenance & Inspection on High Pressure Steam Boilers At The VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System, Castle Point and FDR Montrose Campuses. The vendor/contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, any and all necessary incidentals to complete the work herein described in accordance with VHA Directive 2008-062, Engineering Service SOP 138-47HV, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, NFPA Boiler and Combustion Systems Hazards Code, Boiler Efficiency Institute Safety Device Testing Manual (July 2008) or most current version in addition to local, state and national codes as applicable. EQUIPMENT: (2) 400 Horse Power Superior Boilers (fire tube, 3-pass, wet back), (1) 200 Horse Power Superior Boiler, (2) Industrial Combustion Burners Model LNDLG-210P, (1)Industrial Combustion Burner Model LNDLG-105P, (2)Deaeration Tanks - associated controls and safeties, (2) Condensate Tanks - associated controls and safeties, Instrumentation, monitoring, and control systems, Pressure gages, thermometers, transmitters, All Safety Devices as noted herein, (4) Fuel oil pumps and (4) fuel oil safety relief valves, (3) 740 Horse Power Tititsville Water Tube Boilers Manufactured (1947) (3) Tampella Power VP-18 Burners Firms desiring consideration shall email directly to the Contracting Officer referencing the following in the subject field, "HVHCS Boiler Plant PMI VA-243-10-RQ-0423".
