- A/E Fisher House Life Safety Corrections This notice is for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors under the VISN 23 A/E Contracts (V618P/BOA-4161a Fourfront Design, Inc.; V618P/BOA-4162a Bloom Engineers & Associates; V618P/BOA-4164a Dunham Associates, Inc.; V618P/BOA-4166a Rani Engineering; V618P/BOA-4167a Leo A. Daly; and V618P/BOA-4168a Wolfgram/Knutson Architects Ltd.). The Government anticipates entering into negotiations for a Task Order, with Dunham Associates, Inc., 50 South Sixth Street, Suite 1100, Minneapolis, MN 55402 for the architect-engineering services for this project. Project Description: To correct Life Safety deficiencies at the existing Fisher House. Background: The Fisher House is a 10 sleeping-room facility that houses patients and families during Medical Center treatment. The house was originally designed using a residential occupancy. In February 2009, NIKA Technologies, Inc. was contracted to assess Fisher Homes across the country and outline discrepancies between the construction of the house and a hotel/dormitory occupancy as directed in NFPA 101, Chap. 29, 2009. NAICS code 541310 applies to this procurement.
