Description
Statement of Work TO PROCURE physical, mechanical and thermal testing services for advanced material evaluation of high-temperature ACC-6 2D carbon/carbon-based composites i.a.w. the attached Statement of Work (SOW). NAICS Code 541380, Size Standard $12 Mil. This is a Sole Source procurement. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. This proposed contract action is for procurement of an item for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The proposed source is Southern Research Institute 2000 9th Ave S. Birmingham, AL 35205-2708. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
