- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command, Precision Strike Weapons - PMA-201, intends to award a modification under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0008/2032 to Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) for the acquisition of AN/AWW-13 Pod Suitcase Test Set (STS) hardware/software and engineering and Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) labor in support of the Standoff Land Attack Missile Expanded Response (SLAM-ER) missile. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. It is anticipated that the hardware/software will be Firm-Fixed Price and the engineering and NRE labor will be Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for written information will be disregarded. A determination by the government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with RTSC at the following address: Customized Engineering & Depot Support, 6125 E. 21st Street (MS05), Indianapolis, IN 46219-2058, Attention: Mr. James Shaw. Once NAVIAR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving a contract award is registration in the DOD's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.
