- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeks Leased Office Space Boulder City, NV Note: this notice is an amendment to the previously posted advertisement that referenced Project #LNV2526. The correct Project # is LNV2026. The United States Government seeks to lease office space consisting of approximately 2,821 rentable square feet within the following delineated area: Within the City Limits of Boulder City, NV The space shall yield a minimum of 2,453 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet and shall provide a minimum of 8 secured, reserved on-site parking spaces for Government vehicles, as well as access to 9 spaces for LNV2526employee, visitor and handicapped parking. The proposed lease is for 10 years, 5 years firm, and shall be fully serviced. The space must be in an office building and section of the city that is professional in appearance, well-maintained, and of modern design and/or tastefully rehabilitated to modern use. The space shall meet or be capable of being altered to meet the Government's requirements for accessibility and seismic safety and must be able to accommodate the special requirements of the tenant agency. Offers shall be submitted by owner(s) or by authorized representatives of the owner(s) only. The resulting lease for this project is for the tenant, the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). Due to the regulatory nature of MSHA's role over the mining industry, the Agency desires to avoid the appearance of any conflict with the industry, including being housed in facilities owned by a person or persons with any interest in the mining industry. MSHA requires that a mine operator or mining business may not own 50 percent or more of the company or other entity owning the property to be leased. Thus, parties with an interest in the mining industry are not invited to submit bids for this project. Any potential offeror who responds to this solicitation is required to submit a signed and dated statement indicating that he or she has NO more than 50% interest in the mining industry. •§ Leased space must be located on the first floor/ground level. •§ Leased space should not be located in a strip mall or other shopping mall environment. •§ MSHA's mission requires close proximity and easy access to major highways/freeways. •§ The Government seeks occupancy no later than August 01, 2011.
