- The work involves maintenance support for Alcatel-Lucent 3630, 3600, 7270, and 5620 located in Wyoming Area Office in Mills WY. The scope of work is as following, the contractor shall furnish technical support, software patches, and software updates, as available, for deployed Alcatel-Lucent 3630, 3600, 7270, and 5620 network elements for which the service has been ordered. The contractor shall provide support from remote system engineers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Provide single point of contact to facilitate communication and enable rapid restoration of service or technical assistance. Respond to customer's request for product and technical assistance. Troubleshoot network problems, via phone, virtual private network (VPN), or modern connection, down to maintained products as root cause. Provide software patches or software updates for maintained products, as provided in accordance with the applicable product software support plan. Restore maintained products to operational status by identifying defective hardware components or providing software and/or procedural workarounds, where feasible. Provide on-site support, if upon mutual agreement, resolution cannot be acquired remotely. In the event on-site intervention is performed, time required to arrive on site will not be included with time measured against objectives. Provide customer support number. The term of the contract will be from July 1, 2010 thru September 30, 2010. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation #R10PS6A025 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). All quotes to reference this RFQ number and shall be submitted by 4:00 PM, MST, on June 24, 2010. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41. This solicitation is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 541511. The small business size is 25 million. Destination price required. The following FAR clauses apply and can be viewed at www.acquisition.gov. Commercial clauses 52.212-01, 52.212-03, 52.212-04, and 52.212-05; additional clauses 52.204-07, 52.204-08, 52.222-22, 52.222-42, 52.232-08, 52.232-25, 52.233-03, 52.246-04, 52.249-04, 52.249-08.
