Description

The subject requirement is for the acquisition of NSN 2510-01-458-8036, for the approved sources POLYMER TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (0PZF7) P/N PLFS-CC-050-BH3304PSA and the SOUNDCOAT CO., INC. (28818) P/N CS200U104. An indefinite quantity long-term contract with a base year and four (4) option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed five (5) years. Solicitation will be unrestricted with other than full and open competition applies. The solicitation will be available on or about 6/29/2010 at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB: Destination is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of proposals, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Based on market research, this item is a commercial item and will be solicited using FAR Part 12.
