- Notice to rent leased space. FEMA Advertisement The U.S. General Services Administration is seeking to lease office and related space consisting of approximately 13,700 square feet of rentable space plus eighty (80) secured (such as with metal fencing with lockable gates) indoor and/or outdoor self-park type parking spaces. The rentable office and related space must yield approximately 11,880 to 12,474 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet, available for use by the Tenant for personnel, furnishings and equipment. The offered office and related space must be located on a single floor with the secured parking to be located adjacent to the offered location (no greater than a one block walking distance). Below grade space will not be considered by the Government for the office and related space and the Government reserves the rights to review and either accept or reject all offers of below grade space for the secured parking space. The offered site must be located within the following delineated area of New Jersey: North: Route 36/Memorial Parkway; East: Route 36/Ocean Avenue; South: Route 138 to 16 th Avenue; West: Garden State Parkway The proposed term of the lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) year firm term. Expressions of interest should include the following information: 1) Building name and address; 2) Rentable square feet and rentable rate per square foot; 3) Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet; and 4) Common area factor for offered space; 5) Sketch of offered secured (or securable) parking area showing that parking for 80 standard sized self-park (not valet or stacked parking) vehicles can be provided. Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space. All responses received by COB on June 18, 2010 will be considered by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action, based upon responses to this notice, is solely at the discretion of the Government.
