- RECOVERY THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THE NASA DRYDENFLIGHT RESEARCH CENTER (DFRC) HAS BEEN AUTHORIZED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY ANDREINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 TO ISSUE A TASK ORDER TO TYBRIN CORPORATION UNDER CONTRACTNND08RR01B FOR ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SERVICES. NASA DFRC intends to issue Task Order NND10ST26T titled: Facilities Engineering and AssetManagement Office Support. Contractor is to provide general program support, qualityassurance, and project engineering services in support of DFRC Facilities Engineering andAsset Management Office (FEAMO). FEAMO is tasked with the responsibility to design,manage construction and repair projects, and maintain DFRC facilities. FEAMO requiresproject support personnel with expertise in mechanical and electrical constructionprojects to assist and advise the Chief of FEAMO on facility major and minor projects inthe areas of construction, facility operations, facility maintenance, capitalimprovement, energy management, and disaster mitigation. Contractor support is requiredto provide oversight for: (i) program/project timeliness and schedule to adhere to theNASA facilities program/project cycle; (ii) budget and cost control to adhere toprogram/project budgets; (iii) health and safety compliance with DFRC safety procedures;and (iv) technical quality by working with stakeholders to define project features. This task order is wholly funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)of 2009 and as such is subject to all requirements imposed by the legislation. Theserequirements are mandatory and are subject to monitoring and auditing by the Governmentthroughout the contract performance period. A contract modification has been issued toadd American Recovery and Reinvestment ActReporting Requirements to the contract. The Engineering and Technical Services (ETS) Contract NND08RR01B was awarded on acompetitive basis. This contract is the primary vehicle by which the NASA DFRC obtainssupport for flight research projects, internal research and development, and varioustechnical support functions. Engineering and technical services are provided for bothdirect support of research programs and for support of a more general nature. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This announcement will not result in a request for proposal; this announcement is forinformational purposes only.
