- Description
- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, compete and award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) option contracts for Data Replay System (DRS); FAR clause 52.216-27 applies. Each contract will be for a term of 3 years; which consists of 1 basic year with 2 option years. The total estimated value of this acquisition is $24M (twenty-four million) dollars. The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 and 15 procedures. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number FA2823-10-R-0024 and all related attachments will be posted in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) approximately within 15 calendar days of the release of this notice in FBO. This acquisition will be unrestricted as Full & Open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334511. If you are claiming status of small business under this NAICS, the Small Business size standard is no more than 750 employees. Description: The Data Replay System will be used on a variety of weapon system platforms in support of the Department of Defense developmental and operational flight test requirements. The Data Replay System standard configuration and operational requirements are described in the Technical Requirements Document (TRD) and shall comply with the data format specified within the IRIG standards, IRIG 106 09, Chapter 10. The government will accept and evaluate units capable of demonstrating compliance with IRIG 106-09 Chapter 10 and the Technical Requirements Document (TRD). Offerors will be instructed to conduct the Acceptance Test Procedures and complete the compliance matrix with their proposal submission; these documents will be released with the RFP. Additionally, the 846TSS technical personnel will validate compliance through on-site testing utilizing the same process; schedule of testing will be released shortly following proposal due date. Offerors shall ensure a technical person is available to participate in the joint testing; secret security clearance will be required. Unique Item Identification (UID) marking will be required for the awarded unit(s). Other specific proposal preparation and submission requirements as well as contract terms and conditions will be specified in the resulting RFP.
