- HOME TELEHEALTH DEVELOPMENT AND SUSTAINMENT REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to search for qualified vendors capable of meeting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requirement for the development and sustainment of the existing Care Coordination Home Telehealth program. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal or quote. The VA Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) is seeking contractor services to provide development and testing; planning and earned value analysis; vendor coordination; documentation; security management and remediation; technical requirements gathering; system architecture; issues management; change control; reporting module creation; Tier 3 field support; and overall technical assistance in support of the Office of Telehealth Services (OTS) Home Telehealth Implementation. The anticipated contract will continue to deliver a stable and secure IT infrastructure to support the Care Coordination Home Telehealth program, as well as support vendor servers in the secure VA environment, and integrate data that patients collect at home, enabling clinicians to use the data to treat patients more effectively. The period of performance is anticipated to begin in August 2010. The contract period of performance is anticipated to be one base year with four options (one year) to be exercised at the Government's discretion. Companies are encouraged to respond if they have the capability and/or capacity to perform the services described above and within the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Respondents shall provide the following: oCompany Name; oCompany Address; oPoint of contact name; oTelephone number; oEmail address; oCompany's business size, including applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s) oBrief capabilities statement not exceeding 10 pages. Responses Due: Respondents are requested to submit a response (electronic submission) NO LATER THAN June 23, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. EST via email to Kevin.Monahan@va.gov and Carol.Newcomb@va.gov. This market research is issued for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal, a Solicitation, a Request for Quote or, an indication that the Government will award a contract for the services contained in this RFI. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or, reimburse expenses incurred for responses to this RFI.
