- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to award a sole source contract to Jopana valued at approximately $152,000.00. Required items for this procurement are eight (8) TAM (J-6838/A) units for aircraft installation in the part number 153TAM100 configuration in accordance with the TACAN Adapter Mount Performance Specification (EA6B-PRS-TAM-01 Rev A) which include the following items: - 2 Chassis Assembly; - 2 Power Supply Circuit Assembly;- 2 AC-DC Converter Module;- 2 Main Circuit Board Assembly; These eight (8) TAM are required to directly replace an ARN-84 (V)4 TACAN on the EA-6B ICAP-2 and ICAP-3 aircraft with no wiring or aircraft changes. This requirement will be made under Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. If another contractor believes they can fulfill this requirement, then they should contact the contracting office and provide information demonstrating their ability to meet the Government's needs. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The anticipated award date is 30 July 2010.
