Description
Resubmission of High Security Container requirement per FAR 19.502-2(a) as unrestricted. Revised STATEMENT OF WORK High Security Container June 15, 2010 Revised to include Tiedown Kit in Section 3 1. Scope The Contractor shall provide specified required High Security Container, tiedowns, floor cargo nets, installation and delivery along with one year warranty of parts and installation. 1.1 Background. The high performance F16-C/D fighter jets of the 482nd MAKO Fighter Squadron, maintained and serviced by the 482nd MAKO maintenance squadron, require an ISU-90I container that is air transportable and meets NIJ Level IIIA ballistic protection for storage of classified equipment during deployments in support of the 482nd FW mission. 2. Applicable Documents. The required High Security Container the same as or equal to NSN # 8145-01-500-3147 - will be IAW US Department of Justice NIJ Standards are as follows: Type IIIA armor that is new and unworn shall be tested with.357 SIG FMJ Flat Nose (FN) bullets with a specified mass of 8.1 g (125 gr) and a velocity of 448 m/s ± 9.1 m/s (1470 ft/s ± 30 ft/s) and with.44 Magnum Semi Jacketed Hollow Point (SJHP) bullets with a specified mass of 15.6 g (240 gr) and a velocity of 436 m/s ± 9.1 m/s (1430 ft/s ± 30 ft/s). Type IIIA armor that has been conditioned shall be tested with.357 SIG FMJ FN bullets with a specified mass of 8.1 g (125 gr) and a velocity of 430 m/s ± 9.1 m/s (1410 ft/s ± 30 ft/s) and with.44 Magnum SJHP bullets with a specified mass of 15.6 g (240 gr) and a velocity of 408 m/s ± 9.1 m/s (1340 ft/s ± 30 ft/s). 3. Requirements. Proposal requirements stated below to be clearly priced and indicated on proposals. Any proposals that do not include all listed requirements will not be considered. NSN: 8145-01-500-3147 Forest green High Security Container with alarm Dimensions: Exterior: 108"L x 88"W x 95"H Interior: 92"L x 79.25"W x 85"H • Air transportable both externally or within fixed wing aircraft • NIJ Level IIIA Ballistic protection • Armor plate exterior, forced entry resistant • Single outside armor plate door with high security hasp and padlock • Steel interior dutch door with pass through • Nominal 36" x 84" main and dutch doors • Two 30" fluorescent light fixtures, three bulbs each • 240 VAC single phase power input • Interior mounted load center with 4 branch circuits • Surge protection on service entrance • Interior duplex outlets • Dehumidification system • Security alarm system Alarm System details: • Passive infrared motion detector • Door alarm switch • Trembler sensor • External tamper proof alarmed warning horn, 100 plus dB • Smoke detector • Battery back up, with user friendly control panel Capabilities / Features: • Humidity controlled shelter for multiple uses • Forkliftable with standard 10,000 lb. fork trucks (72" tines) • Interior tie-down rings • Sea transportable with MIL-VAN, flat racks or gondola • 4-Way forkliftable base • Power distribution system ************************ Added to SOW May 28, 2010********************************* 2 each tiedown Kits: Net W/8 Brackets and one cargo net each includes: • 8 pan style tie down brackets with rings (16 tie downs total) • ISU Floor Cargo Restraint net using 6/E cargo rings to anchor net (2 nets total) **************************************************************************************** 3.1 General. Installation to be performed at Homestead Air Reserve Base as directed by and to the satisfaction of Chief Miguel Bernal. All necessary work to deliver, complete, test and to make the High Security Container fully function shall be included in proposal description and price. All work shall be done in conformance with applicable sections of NFPA, and OSHA requirements. There shall be at least one English speaking supervisor at the work site while work is being performed.
