- Statement of Work Excerpt TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES This announcement is posted as a request for information only, for an upcoming solicitation that will be posted in FEDBIZOPPS. This request for information is issued to determine whether or not there are qualified sources that will be able to meet the requirements. The solicitation will be for transitional drug abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services for male and female Federal offenders residing in a residential reentry center, or on home confinement, in Washington, DC. The requirement will be for approximately 230 inmates requiring various transitional drug abuse treatment services (TDAT) and 15 inmates requiring various mental health treatment services for a one year base period with four one-year options to renew. The anticipated period of performance is December 1, 2010 through November 30, 2015 if all option years are exercised. Please see Attachment 1 - Statement of Work Excerpt for additional information on the TDAT program. If you have an interest in the upcoming solicitation, please provide a written response to the questions below and provide your response to Sarah Ellis, Contract Specialist via e-mail at sellis@bop.gov. Responses are due by 2:00PM EST on June 29, 2010. You are advised that providing responses to the questions will not automatically include you in the acquisition process for this solicitation. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 1. Is your organization capable of providing both transitional drug abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services? If not, is your organization capable of providing only transitional drug abuse treatment services or only mental health treatment services? 2. Is your organization capable of providing transitional drug abuse treatment services to approximately 230 inmates a year? If not, what is the number of inmates your organization is capable of providing services to? 3. Is your organization capable of providing mental health treatment services to approximately 15 inmates a year? If not, what is the number of inmates your organization is capable of providing services to? 4. What is the size (small, large, non-profit, etc. ) and status (8a, veteran-owned, service- disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, SDB, woman-owned, etc.) of your organization? 5. Is your organization registered in CCR? If yes, what is the DUNS number of your organization? 6. Does your organization have a location in Washington, DC that is licensed/certified to provide transitional drug abuse treatment services and/or mental health treatment services in Washington, DC? If so, please explain the type of license/certification the facility has. 7. What percentage of the work would you do with your organizations's employees and what percentage of the work would you subcontract? If subcontracting opportunities are available, do you anticipate any difficulties in subcontracting with small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled, or women-owned small business concerns?
