Description
This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Description: Sol-Gel, 3 Syringes/1 Bottle Distilled Water, 100 ML. Part Number AC-130. Quantity 2400 kits. Period of Performance is 12 months with required delivery of 200 kits per month. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. Sole source to: Advanced Chemistry & Technology, Inc., 7431 Anaconda Avenue, Garden Grove CA 92841. See Note 22. The solicitation number for this procurement is FB206701379300 and is issued as Request for Quotation. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). Brand Name Only: Advanced Chemistry and Technology, Inc. Justification for Name Brand Only: The AC-130 is the only engineered approved material that is authorized for the Sol-Gel bonding process. Process Order ENFA-05-067-01 Sec.1.1.1. Pg 5 of 32 calls out for the exclusive use of AC-130. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41, dated 13 Apr 2010 and Class Deviation 2009-0005 and Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 91-13 Correction. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 325510. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following addenda is provided to this provision. Quotes should be submitted including the following information: solicitation number, name, address, telephone number of offeror, price and any applicable discount and payment terms. Signed quotes must indicate quantity, unit price and total amount. Offerors that fail to furnish the required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. In accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and price related factors considered. All offerors must have FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification - Commerical Items completed on line annually. If not, on line certification can be completed at http://orca.bpn.gov. Offeror must also be registered in Central Contrator Registration (CCR). Information concerning CCR registration requirements may be viewed via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/or by calling 1-888-227-2423.
