Description: RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): W912DQ-10-B-0002 Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, will issue an invitation for bid for a firm-fixed price contract to provide labor, equipment and materials to furnish and install electrical equipment to upgrade the electric service to 39 campsites in the Outlet Park at Melvern Lake. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Scope of Work, Drawings and Wage Determination provided in the solicitation. The general scope of work includes but is not limited to: Furnishing all transportation, labor, equipment materials, and supervision necessary to satisfactorily accomplish the work required for the installation of 50 ampere campsite pedestals including electrical feeder lines. Specified requirements and time periods will be specified in the solicitation. The Contractor shall monitor performance and ensure compliance in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation/award. IAW FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this requirement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The performance period will be from date of award through 31 December 2010. The solicitation will be available on or about July 02, 2010. To obtain a copy of the solicitation go to http://www.fbo.gov Bids will be due approximately August 02, 2010. The solicitation, including any amendments shall establish the official opening and closing dates and times. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238210. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Vendors must be actively registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) Database and Online Registration and Certification Application (ORCA).
