CONTACTINFORMATION IS ALSO IN THE BODY OF THIS SOLICITATION.************** This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;offers are being requested and a written solicitation shall not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for UV Spectrometer. MSFCis requesting that the UV Spectrometer be 'the same as or equal to' the attachedspecifications. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement is 334516. Theofferor shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. Allresponsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. However,any award from this RFQ shall require the potential vendor to be certified within theOnline Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations andCertifications Application (ORCA) Databases prior to award.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to MSFC, Central Receiving, Bldg 4631, MSFC, AL. Delivery date TBD.Offers for the items described above are due by June 23, 2010 by 4:00 P.M. CST to DeneceNorris(DFI) at denece.a.norris@nasa.gov or faxed to (256)544-5028 and must include,solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule,discount/payment terms, warranty duration, taxpayer identification number (TIN),identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized companyrepresentative. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JUNE 2008), Instructionsto Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product offered is other than a domestic end product as defined in the clauseentitled 'Buy American Act -- Supplies,' the offeror shall so state and shall list thecountry of origin.
