- This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M00318-10-T-0048 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41. This procurement 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classifications System (NAICS) code is 238330 and the small business size standard is $14 million. The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) intends to procure the following items: ITEM 0001: Vinyl Floor Tile, Laminate; DESCRIPTION: Koa colored interlocking vinyl floor tile 6" x 48" interlocking strips; QTY: 5,744 Square Feet. ITEM 0002: Moisture Padding; DESCRIPTION: 6mm plastic underlayment; QTY: 1700 Square Feet. ITEM 0003: Adhesive, Konecto, Vinyl Floor Tile; DESCRIPTION: Similar or equal to sealer for Konecto; QTY: 35 Gallons. ITEM 0004: Floor Prep Adhesive; DESCRIPTION: Latex floor prep, QTY: 60 Pounds. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination to Kaneohe Bay, HI 96863 within 14 days after receipt of awarded contract. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria in paragraph (a) of this provision has been tailored to read "The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
