- This notice is provided for information purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Center for Acquisition Innovation Frederick Maryland intends to award a sole source award under Public law 109-461 to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in accordance with the requirements contained in FAR Part 5 and under the authority of 38 USC 8127(b) and VAAR 819.7007. This constitutes the only announcement; and a written solicitation will not be issued. Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Center for Acquisition Innovation (CAI) Frederick Maryland has a requirement for Acquisition Support. The VA intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the above-mentioned support services. The period of performance for the awarded contract will be 6 months and will be performed at CAI Frederick Maryland, with an estimated start date of June 28, 2010. Award will be made on a sole source basis to Pathfinder Works LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, in accordance with VAAR 819.7007. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541611. The Classification Code is R. Telephonic inquires will not be accepted.
