- Solid and Green Waste RemovalSolicitation Number: N889510O034Agency: Department of the InteriorOffice: National Park ServiceLocation: NPS - WWII Valor in the Pacific National Memorial (USS Arizona Memorial) Synopsis:The purpose of this announcement is to give notice that the National Park Service (NPS) is releasing solicitation number N8895100034 to solicit offers from qualified firms having the capability to perform trash/garbage/green waste collection services. The services to be performed will include contractor furnished dumpsters, labor, and equipment, required to perform all aspects of trash/garbage/green waste removal services, which includes the collection, processing and final disposition of all materials in an approved landfill in accordance with the County of Honolulu and State of Hawaii ordinance. This trash/garbage/green waste removal is a result from commercial and office activities at the Memorial. This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and made available electronically for viewing and/or downloading on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website and the Department of the Interior National Business Center (NBC) website, at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are encouraged to register at the National Business Center. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available via mail or fax. Solicitation documents will be available in Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF format. Potential offerors will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract document. No other notification will be sent. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 562111. The small business size standard is $12.5 million. This project is unrestricted competitive and available to both small and large businesses. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged, service disabled veteran owned, and women-owned business enterprises. To be eligible to receive the award contractors must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at the internet site http://www.ccr.gov and Online Representative and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.orca.bpn.gov. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated from this solicitation.
