- Arcata Associates, Inc. (Arcata/UNITeS), performing under the Unified NASAInformation Technology Services (UNITeS) Prime Contract NNM04AA02C, intends to acquire asa modification to existing commercial Purchase Order C 143995 with WegenerCommunications, a continuation of full hardware and software maintenance support for theNASA wide installed Multi-channel Digital TV System. The intended purchase order providesfor specific support levels for specific equipment identified in the attached Statementof Work (SOW) v.3 dated 18 June 2010 with services to begin on or about 1 July 2010, orearlier.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. Because of the urgency in continuing the support of the various hardware and softwareitems, interested firms have five (5) days until 25 June 2010, 4:00 PM CT, to submit inwriting their quotation to the identified point of contact. This announcement constitutesthe only solicitation, as quotations are being requested per the attached Request forQuotation (RFQ) and Statement of Work (SOW) which are located in the attached WORD files.It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of anyamendments, and clarifying questions and answers. For subscribers to FedBizops who wishto obtain the relevant documents covering this synopsis, please access said informationat http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=62 as no hardcopy will beprovided by this office. Responses received without the required information as identified on page 3 of the RFQwill be considered non-responsive to the synopsis/solicitation.
