Description
This award was a result of a competitive Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MTOC) action. The four (4) MTOC contractors all completed for this award. This is a FIXED PRICE task order. The scope of work may include, but is not limited to all labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to accomplish the work of the identification and removal/replacement of concrete apron too include workplan and concrete repair in front of apron in front of Buildings 7206, 7208, 7210, and removal/replacement of scaled areas on two helicopter pads on the northern most ramp identified as Assault Ramp. Replace all striping and labeling. To include workplan and concrete removal/replacement for 12 helicopter pads at 5,000 square feet each. Replace all striping and labeling. To include workplan and concrete removal/replacement of scaled concrete surface on twelve helicopter pads located on Assault SOD Ramp. For the pads on the north side of Assault SOD, add new mooring points. On the south side of Assault SOD, extend concrete pavement a distance of ten feet at what would be considered the head end of the helicopters parking orientation. The thickness of the concrete shall match the existing thickness of the concrete pad. The twenty-eight day strength of concrete shall be 4,000 psi. All joints shall match and align with the existing joints. Provide concrete mix design prior to placement. Prepare and execute a work plan to identify and removal/replacement concrete joint seals. An area measuring 1,000 feet by 50 feet in front of Buildings 7206, 7208, 7210, and two helicopter pads was identified as severely distressed with corner spalls and cracking. The work plan shall propose the method and sequencing of the concrete removal/replacement. Within the area outlined in front of the hangars and the helicopter pads, perform removal/replacement in accordance with the workplan. A quantity of 4,000 square feet is estimated as the area of patching. The workplan shall also address the helicopter pads on Assault Ramp. There are two helicopter pads are approximately 5,000 square feet each, which were identified as needing removal/replacement.
