- Justification for intent to sole source. General Information: Special Notice Solicitation Number: NRCS-10-OR-07 Posted Date: June 17, 2010 Response Date: June 25, 2010 Set Aside: N/A Contracting Office: USDA/NRCS Oregon State Office 1201 NE Lloyd Blvd Suite 900 Portland, OR 97232 United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order to GE Druck Inc. 4 Dunham Drive, New Fairfield, CT 06812 for the following items: 35 PMP 317 Pressure Transducers 100” H20 and 10 PMP 317 Pressure Transducers 200” H20. These transducers are an essential component of NRCS SNOTEL system to measure the weight (inches of water) on the snow pillow or precipitation gage at each NRCS SNOTEL site. This purchase will be made under FAR part 13, simplified acquisition procedures, and other than full and open competition under FAR part 6.302-1. The anticipated award date will be June 25, 2010. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Do not submit a bid/quote at this time. Any vendor that feels they have the ability to meet this requirement may submit information to support their claim. The government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
