Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for gravel prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Statement of Work:Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of total cost (all or nothing). Please include delivery in your price. Proposals with fuel surcharge formats will not be accepted. Site Location:Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge44843 County Road 19Odessa, MN 56276-2111 Local Contact:Alice Hanley (320) 273-2191 Material Requirements: Line 1: Delivery and tailgate spreading of class 5 aggregate at the following locations and in the following quantities. Koch / Syndicate Road = 558 Tons, County Road 1 = 210 Tons, Low Road = 1,310 Tons, Pool 4 Dike Road = 1,290 Tons, Banding Site Road = 333 Tons, Sellin Trail = 850 Tons, County Road 15, Boat Launch and Parking Lot = 115 Tons. Total class 5 material for line 1 = 4,666. Line 2: 350 tons of Granite Fines. Material will be picked up by refuge staff. Invoices are to be submitted after delivery is accepted. Weight tickets must be provided with invoices to verify load. Delivery terms are FOB destination for line 1 and FOB origin for line 2. Quotes are due on or before Wednesday, June 30, 2010.
