- ITEM 0001: NSN 5180-01-062-3874, Part Number 3402454-1, Tool Kit Fastener, used to repair main landing gear beams for the C-130 Aircraft and has a multiple tools that are used to install/remove protruding and flush head Taper-Lok pins. The components of this Fastener Kit are: multiple taper-lok reamers (20 in 3 places), taper -lok depth gages (10), taper-lok cutters stop (3), taper-lok knock-out tools (5), protrusion gages (2), different sizes of drills (20), block assembly, back-up bar and nameplates ( identification and contents). Materials: Various. Requirement is for 2 EACH. Also included, 3 option periods. Option I is valid for 365 days, 1-2 each; Option II is valid 730 days, 1-2 each; Option III is valid 1095 days, 1-2 each. DELIVERY - ITEM 0001: Place of delivery: FE6383, one (1) each; FE6501, one (1) each. Due 210 days ARO of Contract. Delivery of options is 210 days after exercise of option. Location to be determined. Data/Drawings are available. The approximate RFP issue date will be 6 July 2010; proposals are due 6 Aug 2010. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS). Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This is a HUBZone set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. All questions regarding the RFP and /or the data packages must be submitted in writing to Pamela.Miller@robins.af.mil with copy to Tara.Odom@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONE QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of quotes. Anticipated award date is 27 Aug 2010.
