Description

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), managing contractor of SRS for the DOE solicits interested general contractors desiring to be considered for a Davis-Bacon contract to provide upgrades/reconfigurations to the Advanced Tactical Training Academy (ATTA). There are 3 projects involved: Proj. 1: Range 1 Berm Reconfiguration; Power & Telecommunications Dist. Syst.; Range Lighting; Communication Tower & Bldg. Proj. 2: Range 5 Modifications; Range 1 Target Ranges (AT, TS, Bear, Rogers); Weapons Cleaning Building; Target Maint. & Storage Building; Weapons Storage Building; Weapons Storage Area; Ammunitions Storage Area. Project 3: Alpha Road Lighting; Water Supply Syst. (Domestic & Fire); Adm. Building; ATTA Parking Lot; ATTA Fencing & Gates. We require the names of successful contract completion of similar projects worth $10 - $20 million and your past experience in managing multiple contractors. In addition, the history of the following is required: qualified personnel to perform the work; good quality plan that will also indicate proper start-up & turnover procedures and schedule adherence in meeting baseline schedule completion dates. Any company interested shall submit a letter of interest to Stephen Frey (email acceptable) before July 7, 2010. Only firms who have a demonstrated safety performance equal to the following standards shall be eligible for award: 3-year average Interstate Experience Modification Rate of 1.0 or less and a 3-year average Total Recordable Case Rate of 5.3 or less. Any interested firm who is deemed qualified to perform these services must become signatory to the Site Support Alliance Agreement and be capable of providing payment and performance bonds.
