Description
Amendment 1 Cover Sheet The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to award three (3) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) General Construction Contracts for alterations and repairs to the Social Security Administration's headquarters buildings located in Baltimore County and Baltimore City, Maryland. The Government reserves the right to award more or less than three contracts. All IDIQ contracts will be provided a fair opportunity to be considered for subsequent task order work. Firm-Fixed-Price task orders will be competed and awarded among the IDIQ Contractors awarded contracts off of the solicitation. This is an IDIQ contract with a guaranteed minimum amount of $60,000 for each contract for the entire five-year contract period. The Government has no obligation to issue task orders to the contractor beyond this amount. Once the conditions of this minimum have been met, the contractor will continue to have the opportunity to be issued task orders under this contract unless notified by the contracting officer. The maximum cumulative amount that may be awarded to any single contractor or to all contractors combined for the entire five-year contract period is $60,000,000. As such, as more orders are issued under one contract, the value of orders, which can be issued under other contracts, will drop by an equal amount. This procurement is restricted to HubZone Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this work is 236220. The size standard for this NAICS code is $33.5 million in average annual receipts over the preceding three fiscal years. While there will be no limit on size, the project will generally involve repairs, alterations, and improvements in connection with existing buildings or properties, and may range in size from $25,000 to $1 million in estimated construction cost; however, the typical project range is $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The minimum dollar limitation for any individual task order is $2,000.00 for the base year and each of the option periods, if exercised.
