- Performance Work Statement Wage Determination Guidelines, Hillsborough County, FL U.S. Central Command requires the refurbishing and refinishing of the sensitive compartmented information facility "SCIF" doors and repair/replace as needed door hardware on same in order to comply with: (1) life safety code, (2) SCIF security requirements and (3) occupant (entry/exit) load located at Building 565, MacDill AFB, FL. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: CLIN 0001 (1 Lot) - Refinish the inside surface of the 6 Vince (Bdlg 565) sensitive compartmented information facility "SCIF" doors and repair/replace as needed door hardware on same in order to comply with: (1) life safety code, (2) SCIF security requirements and (3) occupant (entry/exit) load. NOTES TO OFFEROR: • Site visit at Building 565 is scheduled for 24 June 2010 at 0900 EDT (site visit attendance is not mandatory) • If you plan on attending, you must contact Mr. Walt Carey by 23 Jun 2010 at 1200 EDT to coordinate base access and/or directions. • Questions will be due by 25 June 2010 at 12:00 pm ET. Answers to all questions will then be posted on FedBizOpps by 30 June 2010 at 1600 EDT. BASIS FOR AWARD: Award will be made to the lowest price offeror that is determined to be technically acceptable. Vendors will note the requirements of the attached Performance Work Statement and Wage Determination Guidelines as it pertains to Hillsborough County, FL. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication or protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution.
