Description
RECOVERY, TAS: 14 1041, CUVA 6167 PMIS# 151794, Tinkers Creek Title III Project Name: Tinkers Creek Title III This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the Act. The North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) Code: 541310 "Architectural Services" This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS for the following: This is not a request for proposal. There will not be a solicitation issued at this time. The U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), National Park Service (NPS), Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) is issuing this notification in order to collect market research to reinforce the Government's position that this action should be issued as a sole source contract. The Government plans to award a contract to Bergmann Associates Inc., located in Rochester, New York, on a sole-source basis for architectural and engineering services for the Replacement/Rehabilitation of the Tinkers Creek Aqueduct at Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) in Brecksville, Ohio. The specific requirement is to provide design services and provide construction administration and oversight during construction. The initial design services were provided by a professional engineer employed by Bergmann Associates Inc. who had prepared and approved the documents. As such, Bergmann Associates Inc. assumes liability for the design represented by the project engineering documents. In order to maintain a single source of liability any corrections, revisions, or additions to be made to the project are required to be made by the professional engineer, or a representative within the company, who originally signed and sealed the documents. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. Government course of action will be based on this market research. The Solicitation Number & Justificaion for Other Than Full and Open Competition for this Project once issued will be N6167100015.
