- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009. Interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bid. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing an Invitation for Bid numbered AG-82B1-S-10-0341 on or about July 1, 2010, for the RECOVERY – Greenridge Life Station, Arapoho Roosevelt National Forest. If the Invitation for Bid (IFB) is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective vendors should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after June 30, 2010 to obtain a copy of the Invitation for Bid (IFB). This requirement is being solicited as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) under FAR Part 14. Proposals or offers are due at July 30, 2010;14:00 P.M. MT. A single firm-fixed price type contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror based upon price and other evaluation factors as stated in the solicitation (IAW FAR Part 9, Contractor Qualifications) ALL PROPOSALS SHOULD BE MAILED TO: USDA/FOREST SERVICES ATTN: PHYLLIS R. COBURN-HARRIEL 740 SIMMS ST GOLDEN, CO 80401 PROJECT DESCRIPTION. This project consists of the complete replacement of an existing sewage lift station with a new packaged sewage lift station. Work includes but is not limited to: Demolition of existing wet-dry sewage lift station, valves, pumps, control panel, and basins; Installation of a new packaged lift station, including excavation, basin (with cover, vent and access door), inlet and discharge, rail assemblies, level controls, pump, valves, valve box, control panel, junction box, backfilling startup, testing, and all labor and miscellaneous materials required for a complete and operable system. The magnitude of this project IAW FAR 36.204 (c) is between $100,000 and $250,000. There will be a pre-proposal site visit held participants will meet at the Sulphur Ranger District, 9 Ten Mile Drive, Granby, CO 80446. PROJECT LOCATION. Green Ridge Campground/Lift Station - The project is located approximately 14 miles north of the town of Granby, CO, on the Sulphur Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests. The site is located in the Greenridge Campground. The campground is located on the south shore of Shadow Mountain Lake, east of US Highway 34 along County Road 66. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
