Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is soliciting prospective contractors for work that includes the remediation of various hazardous waste sites involving contaminated soil, sediment, groundwater, demolition, tank removal and associated monitoring, testing and technical support. The multiple award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Remedial Action Contract (RAC) will have the geographic boundaries of the North Atlantic Division mission area. The NAICS code for the work described above is 562910 with a size standard of 500 people. Work will begin in Fall 2010 and include a base period of one year and four option periods for a possible total of five years. Four contracts will be awarded to include 8a, HubZone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned firms. Work will be performed on a task order basis with task orders competed among the selected firms. The total RAC ceiling amount will be $45,000,000 over the life of the contract. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is on or about 12 July with a projected award date in Fall 2010. Interested bidders can download the solicitation via Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov). The due date for the bid will be stated in the solicitation. Requests for solicitation documents by telephone, fax or email will not be honored. Instructions for proposal submissions will be provided in the solicitation. The Government intends to make award to the offerors that represent the best value to the Government, with price and non- price factors considered. Instructions and evaluation factors will be provided in the request for proposals.
