- RFQ Package: Letter to Vendors, SF18, SOW, Terms and Conditions The Department of Homeland Security, National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD), Federal Protective Service (FPS) provides a safe environment in which Federal agencies conduct their business in all Federal and lease building under the General Services Administration (GSA) in the Washington Metropolitation Area. FPS Leadership, Officer's and Support Staff have designated parking at 1900 Half St, Washington, D.C. on the G2 and G4 garage levels. Force Protection and threat levels requrie access and control countermeasures for this facility. The electric gates that are keyed for activation with the programmed PIV card meets accees control requirements to deter and protect the building and occupants from a potential threat. The Government requires installation services that will offer a superior level of workmanship through a team of responsive, highly skilled professionals. The quality of the performance of the contractor will directly impact on our organization and the ability to meet our business goals The scope of work is furnishing and erecting enclosed drive sliding gate operator system to allow motorized operation of the gate by presenting appropriate badge to the existing card reader. Work required: Replace the exisiting gate, frame and operator motor on G4 garage level, and replace the operator motor on G2 garage level. Gate Operators shall be manufactured to UL requirements and shall be listed as an approved product by the UL testing laboratory. All operators shall be furnished with UL labels/ Contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of the existing gate and operators. System will be equipped with free exit loop. System must work with the existing Maxxes Access, access control system. Further instructions, specifications and details can be found on the attached RFQ package file. This procurement is a 100% total small business set-aside. Attached to this notice is the RFQ package which contains all the information and instructions necessary to submit your quote for this procurement.
