Description
Amendment No. 002 is for Solicitation No: RMN00100126 is as followings: QUESTIONS RECEIVED: 1. Approximately how many feet are there of LP Gas and Natural Gas piping? ANSWER: There is approximately 153,982 feet of LP and natural gas line. (29.1 Miles) 2. Of the listed boilers, how many produce steam, and how many produce hot water? ANSWER: See attached 3. How many of each type of equipment are at each location? ANSWER: The object count by location for the Boilers is attached. 4. Are there site plans available that show the location of the underground LPG and natural gas piping? ANSWER: The sites were constructed at various times with a majority of the facilities built in the 1960's. There have been numerous additions, renovations, and demolitions over the years. The Facility Manager at each school may or may not have some site diagrams for reference. It is likely that on-site diagrams have not been updated over the years. If available they can be used as a reference. Tracer lines have been installed with the underground piping. It is expected that the contractor will use a line locator and mark/flag underground gas piping prior to conducting leak testing/evaluation. 5. Are there any underground valves on the LPG and natural gas piping? If so, are they housed in pits or chambers? ANSWER: NO 6. Does any of the underground piping have cathodic protection systems installed? ANSWER: NO NO MORE QUESTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO REMAIN THE SAME AND IN FULL FORCE EFFECT.
