Description

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service,Division of Migratory Bird Management located in Fort Snelling, MN anticipates award of a purchase order for 18 30 gram solar GPS-Birdbone PTT Satellite Transmitters to include 3 solar panels per unit for mounting on crane leg bands. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; no formal RFQ will be available. This award will be made on or about July 1, 2010, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 517410. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond within 7 days of this announcement. All responses must be in writing by facsimile to the Contracting Officer at (703) 358-1890 or e-mail robert_rubien@fws.gov. This is a small business set-aside. See Note 1.
