Description
The BLM intends to issue a Request for Quote to award a single firm fixed price contract for the construction of a storage type facility at Kipp Recreation Site. The contractor is to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials, except for Government-furnished property, to construct a 12 foot X 28 foot storage building on a concrete foundation. Work includes the installation of an 800 pound fish cleaning station with backflow preventer, electrical service and other appurtenances. The BLM will furnish much of the building construction supplies and the fish cleaning station. The bid schedule is as follows: 1) Concrete Work; 2) Storage Building Construction; and, 3) Electrical Work. The project is located in Fergus County. Kipp Recreation Site is located along Highway 191 just South of the Missouri River in Central Montana. The period of performance is 30 days. Work is to be completed this fall. 100% payment protection is required for construction contracts awarded above $30,000. The RFQ is tentatively scheduled to be available on or about July 9, 2010 at www.fedconnect.net. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. A Site Tour will be scheduled: date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. Response date for quotes will be on or about August 16, 2010. Offers will be accepted from all responsive and responsible small business concerns. Prospective contractors are required to be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA).
