Description

THE DATES INCLUDED IN THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ARE APPROXIMATE AND MAY BE CHANGED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE BUREAU OF RECLAMATION. THE ACTUAL DATES WILL BE ESTABLISHED AT THE TIME THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS MADE AVAILABLE AT WWW.FBO.GOV The work includes repairing the existing soil-cement embankment protection located on the upstream side of Glen Elder dam. The principle components of the work include the following:1. Saw cutting existing soil-cement, as required.2. Removing existing soil-cement within the repair areas, as required.3. Furnishing and installing reinforcement.4. Furnishing and placing concrete in the repair areas.The contractor shall schedule the work such that repairs between elevations 1452.6 and 1456.5 are completed first. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The solicitation package is tentatively scheduled to be issued on or around July 22, 2010. The bids are tentatively due on or around August 31, 2010 at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, Acquisition Services, Room 2035, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59101, Attention: Alma Bergerson. The estimated range of the project is $500,000.00-$1,000,000.00. The North American Industrial classification Code (NAICS) is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 Million. This is an unrestricted acquisition, pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The solicitation will be posted at www.FBO.gov.
