- Supply or Services Classification Code: 3445 Subject of Synopsis: Hydraulic Metal Shear IFB/RFP Number: F2F3230102A002 SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION DESCRIPTION The Government has a commodities requirement for Hydraulic Metal Shear. This is a total Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 333513 with a size standard of 500 employees; the SIC code is 3542. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The incorporated provisions and clauses are current to Fac 2005-42, Effective 16 June 2010. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items: THIS IS A BRAND NAME OR EQUAL REQUIREMENT: 0001 - Betenbender model 10-375 or equivalent. 3/8" x 10' capacity mild steel. Blade length 124". Max cut length 122-1/2". 17 hold down points. 3/8" rake angle. 11 strokes per minute. 20HP/230V/60Hz. 4' squaring arm. Power adjustable rake Light beam gauge. IAW FAR 52.211-6, please provide the following if bidding an "or equal" product: •A) Manufacturer's name •B) Manufaturer's part number •C) Complete salient physical, functional, and or performance characteristics DELIVERY: FOB Destination to Hurlburt Field, FL 32544 THE FOLLOWING CLAUSES AND PROVISIONS APPLY TO THIS PROCUREMENT: FAR 52.212-1: Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. It is amended to read: Offeror shall submit signed and dated offer to include technical specification. Offeror shall submit offers to 1 SOCONS/LGCC, Attn: Kyra White, 350 Tully St Bldg 90339, Hurlburt Field FL 32544-5810. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form and marked with solicitation number F2F3230102A002. Offers may be emailed to kyra.white@hurlburt.af.mil. The government reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2: Evaluation of Commercial Items which is incorporated into this Request for Quote, with an addendum to paragraph (a) as follows: The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price and technical acceptability. When combined, price and technical acceptability are approximately equal.
