Description
Wage Determination Statement of Work for 2010 Air Force Academy Freefall Professional Development Training This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Purchase Request number F2XJA60060A001 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-42 (16 Jun 10) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20100621. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is for the purchase of the following: Contract for lodging and meals in support of seventy-two (72) Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Cadets for Professional Development Training (PDT) at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, as sponsored by HQ AFROTC at Maxwell AFB, AL. The period of performance is 28 July 2010 through 8 August 2010. The type of contract will be firm fixed price. The Cadets will require the services to be performed in Colorado Springs, CO. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 721110 with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. Provide the following price/information in your response to this combined synopsis solicitation: Lodging (37 rooms, double occupancy, double beds, based on gender) Price $ ____________. Hot meals (Hot breakfast and dinner shall be provided daily for the duration of their stay, 28 July10 to 8 August 10. Monday - Friday will require hot breakfast to be served at 4:30 AM. Additionally, lunch shall be provided on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Meals shall not exceed $20 each. Request vendors provide a menu with quote submittal. Price $ ____________. Distance your facility is from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, CO 80849. The hotel shall be within a 5-mile radius of the Air Force Academy. Miles _____________. The Government will make an award to the responsible contractor whose quote conforms to the combined synopsis/solicitation, the Statement of Work (SOW) and is the best value overall to the Government. In Accordance with DFARS 252.232-7003, Invoicing and payments must be made utilizing the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) - To register and submit invoice go to https://wawf.eb.mil. Payment information may be accessed using the DFAS website at https://www.dfas.mil. Your purchase order/contract number or invoice will be required to inquire status of your payment. The following local clause is also incorporated: Maxwell 119 WAWF-Electronic Submission of Invoice (May 2006), Reference DFAR Clause 252.232-7003 "Electronic Submission of Payment Request" (Mar 2008). This purchase will incorporate one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effects as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. The full text of a clause may be accessed electronically at this address: www.farsite.hill.af.mil. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued in writing to the successful offeror. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration - DFAR 252.204-7004 Alt A, Required Central Contractor Registration (Sep 2007). The quote format is at the discretion of the offeror but at a minimum must include the above quote schedule, any payment discount terms, CAGE code, DUNS number, Tax ID number and 52.212-3, Alt 1 filled out (or indication that it is complete in ORCA).
