- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is soliciting firm-fixed price quotations to provide Bread & Bakery Products to the Nutrition and Food Service and the Veterans Canteen Service on an "as needed" basis at the following facilities: Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Chicago, IL; North Chicago VA Medical Center, North Chicago, IL; and the Edward J. Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, Hines, IL. Contract period of performance is August 1, 2010 through July 31, 2011. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their quote. Offerors shall be evaluated on price and past performance. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards by medical centers to the offeror(s) representing the best value to the Government. The small business size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 311812 is 500 employees. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about June 25, 2010.
