Description
GENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Idaho Panhandle NF's. Sandpoint RD Bald Mountain Repeater Building (& Generator Building Replacement): The Work of this project includes, but is not limited to, renovation of the existing Bald Mountain Repeater and Generator Buildings. Total aggregate gross square footage for the two separate buildings is approximately 360 S.F. divided approximately equally between two (2) structures. The Bald Mountain Repeater and Generator Buildings Replacement will consist of selective demolition of existing and abandoned equipment, electrical distribution system, roof, and finishes, installation of new structural wall and roof structure and metal panel finish, installation of new door and salvaged doors and new roof access hatches and ladders, new electrical and mechanical systems. Refer to the Construction Documents and Project Manual for full description of the Work in the solicitation when posted. There will be requirements to maintain continuous radio equipment and weather protection throughout the duration of the project. On site project construction work will be performed between July 1, 2011 and September 30, 2011. The price range for this project is: $25,000 - $100,000 PROJECT LOCATION: Located on Bald Mountain in Bonner County, Idaho approx 8.5 miles (straight line distance) from Sandpoint, ID. The work site is located in T58N R3W SW ¼ Sec 35 B.M. Depending on weather conditions, the main roads may be impassable - high clearance vehicles will be required during summer months and Snowmobiles in the winter months. SOLICITATION INFORMATION: The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps (FBO) website on or about July 9, 2010 for viewing and printing. Potential responders are requested to obtain the solicitation, including plans/drawings from the Internet FBO site. No hard-copy solicitations will be issued.. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date which will occur the date when the actual solicitation is posted on FBO which is projected to be on or about July 9, 2010. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted notices of synopses such as this, you will be automatically notified via email of the posting of the actual solicitation and any changes to the project such as amendments you may be required to acknowledge. To register, select Register to Receive Notification and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. INTERESTED VENDORS LIST: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) sometimes referred to as he Plan Holder List. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website where you are now. To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow the steps. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest besides this particular one. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting View List of Interested Vendors for EACH project. IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to receive a contract award and in some cases to even be eligible to be responsive to the solicitation, Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) databases.
