Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined solicitation/synopsis/Request for Quotation A(RFQ) for food preparation and dining facility management services during the period of 24 July to 7 August 2010. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is issued as a Small Business Set-Aside under the NAICS codes 722310 and 722320 with a small business size standard of $7M. The 1-114th Infantry will be performing Annual Training at Fort Indiantown Gap, PA and requires food preparation and dining facility management services in Dining Facilities building numbers 1258 and 1263. RFQ Standard Form 1449 is attached to this announcement in PDF form and will be used by the contractor to submit their quotation. A list of Fort Indiantown Gap Approved Caterers is attached to this announcement. Only companies that are on this list are eligible to bid on this event. The Department of Labor wage determinations for this location are applicable and are attached to this announcement. Each offeror shall indicate if payment after completion of services and invoicing is acceptable by Government Purchase Card (VISA). Award will be made to the offeror determined to be the best value to the government based on past performance, technical capability & price. To determine Best Value, all requirements of the Statement of Work must be presented. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offerors initial offer should contain the offerors best terms from a price and technical standpoint. All questions shall be submitted in writing and received prior to bid closing.
