- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Sheridan, located in Sheridan, Oregon, intends to issue RFQP0612100023 for the requirement to replace 10 existing fire suppression hood systems at the FCI/FPC/FDC kitchen area's. The North American Industrial Classification System code applicable to this notice is 238220, with a size standard of $14.0 million. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The period of performance is 45 calendar days. This solicitation is 100% set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business. Payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit is required. All offerors are required to check this website daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. Posting of the solicitation is projected to be on or about July 12, 2010, with a projected quote due-date of August 13, 2010. These dates are subject to change. Security investigations and subsequent clearances issued by the Federal Bureau of Prisons will be required for all staff who perform any contract activity on the property of FCI Sheridan. Residency requirements are applicable to this solicitation. Quoting officials and contractor employees working under this contract on Federal grounds will be required to sign a certification that for three of the five years immediately prior to responding to this solicitation, the quoters and employees have: resided in the United States; worked for the U.S. overseas in a Federal or military capacity; or has been a dependent of a federal or military employee serving overseas. Faith-Based and Community-Based organization can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
