Description
Remove desiganted trees and underbrush at the radio communications link repeater site. Due date for Offers: July 14, 2010 by 4:00pm eastern daylight timeEstimated price range: Under $25,000.00 Estimated start date for project: July/August 2010 This requirement is offered to all qualified, responsive concerns. Offers will be considered using a tiered order of precedence. (1st - 8(a) certified small businesses, 2nd - Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, and all other Small Businesses, 3rd - Large Businesses.) Each tier will be evaluated using the procedure outlined in Section M. A determination of insufficient competition or unreasonable price will be made before the next tier is evaluated. Directions on the tiered evaluation are in Section M of the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730, Landscaping Services. To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website:www.ccr.gov). The FAA intends to award one (1) firm fixed price contract. Please see Section "L" of the solicitation for complete proposal submission information. Notice: This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-own concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation -related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rate to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
